Submission Info and Guidelines:

Blooming Tree Press is accepting unsolicited submissions for the Children’s and Young Adult Division November 1st – 25th 2007 ONLY.  Any submissions received before or after the above dates will be discarded.

Blooming Tree Press is accepting unsolicited submissions for the Adult Division November 1st – December 15th 2007 ONLY.  Any submissions received before or after the above dates will be discarded.

Please submit Fiction Only at this time.

For all submissions include a cover letter which contains your name, address, email address, telephone number and a little bit about yourself.  Please limit your submissions to your best 3 manuscripts.

No horror, occult or erotica.

In the subject line of your email, please put submission type. Example “Picture Book Submission”, “Young Adult Submission”, “Adult Submission”.

Picture Books:  Please submit the entire manuscript.

Easy Reader/Early Reader: Please submit the entire manuscript.

Chapter Book: Please submit a synopsis and first chapter.

Middle Grade: Please submit a synopsis and first chapter.

Young Adult:  Please submit a synopsis and first chapter.

Adult Division: Please submit a synopsis and first 3 chapters.

Blooming Tree Press is interested in fresh and quirky ideas for Picture Books through Middle Grade submissions.  Young Adult submissions should have power, depth and heart.  Adult submissions should have complex and exciting plots, with great character depth all wrapped up in a fresh, original idea.

If you are asked to send a story or are sending your story as an attachment, please note the following.  All material must be typed in a 12 point font and have double-spaced lines.
